Abigail's graveyard bunny
My sweet BabyGail has her very own graveyard rabbit. I captured a bunch of pix of him nestling behind her vase on her headstone, but they're difficult to see cuz Mr. Bunny was very good at hiding. I didn't think posting his little feet and the tips of his ears would make for a good foto. Unfortunately, when I moved to get a better foto of him, he moved too, and this is as good as I could get of his sweetness ♥

There are no words...
this one's especially heart-wrenching... I always wonder did they die of illness or accident. Children fell victim to both so easily, and in one fell swoop a mother could find herself putting several of her children into a communal tomb such as this.

Cosetta
notice the keys on the left hand side of the foto to give indication of how dainty sweet Cosetta's stone is. This is apparently in Willis Cemetery in southern Oklahoma--dust bowl territory then, and even now. Of course September 11th will never be the same for our generation, but clearly every generation has it's hardships...

Rest in Peace
I have a blinkie for Anne that says the same thing -- a little flower: lent, not given--to bud on earth and bloom in heaven ♥

Little Louise
Inman family plot. The Inman family built the Swan house that is now part of the Atlanta History Center. This is the grave of their daughter, Louise. The face of the cherub is an actual likeness made from Louise's death mask.
